I replaced the map lights with LEDs, them replaced them again with the Meso Customs LED panels with the red option.

In the process of dicking with them and not being gentle, I've broken one the little tiny plastic tabs that hold/retain the drivers side pushable light.

It won't fall out but one corner just droops there and the switch feels floppy. Any suggestions to replace the little frickin thing? Build up super glue with some accelerator spray? Epoxy putty?

I imagine I'm not the first person to break one.

Thanks

Do you still have the tab that broke off?

I've found that super glue does not work well, besides, I don't think you can "build up" super glue.

I have found that epoxy works well if the tab can be held in place until the epoxy sets up. There are some epoxy that sets up in as little as 15 minutes. Amazon.com I generally use the thick liquid form, not a putty.

I think the tab is long gone. FYI, you can build up or gusset with super glue if you use an accelerator spray but baking soda is even better because it also causes the glue to instantly set while making it a little thicker.

Obviously trying to throw pinches of baking soda above my face at the light is less than ideal lol.

Better yet, get a used one in good condition from Ebay.

No, the broken tab of plastic is in the map light housing, not the lens itself
