Trail/fj wheels

Does anyone know if there are actual pt# for these wheels? I have seen two different “colors” a lite and grey. I have noticed the lite ones on 4Rs and the darker ones on FJs. Are there separate pt#s?

They are definitely different part #'s.....they are different sizes!
FJ > 16's
T4R > 17's

Hmmmm,
Interesting that you say they are 16s on the fj. The dark ones I have seen in person on fjs are 17s

Possibly the ones you saw were changed to the larger rims.
The OEM size was 265/75R16 on my 2013 FJ/TT, all designed rims.

I don't believe that is true, at least not with those wheels. My '13 FJ came with them, and they were definitely 17".

Are you looking for a set of just asking?

Definitely different p/n’s and 100% certain they are both 17” wheels (17x7.5) for the 8-hole wheels. The silver (aka “lite”) ones came stock on the 2010+ 4Runner Trail Edition. I have my silver set from my OG 2010 Trail Edition in the basement and can check if the p/n is visible on the rim.

If you’re looking for a set of 4, they’re used but in good shape and on the market ;)

The darker grey colorway was later offered on the FJs. Don’t recall the exact year, but 100% they are the same wheel, just different finish (thus different p/n).

Re other comments:
The Special Edition FJ Trail Teams builds that came with TRD wheels had Special Edition 16” TRD wheels. Earlier Trail Teams FJs had the 6-spoke black wheels that were impossible to buy aftermarket w/o having a matching FJ VIN. Later years the FJ Trail Teams builds had the TRD faux beadlock style wheels that were also shared with TRD trimmed Tacomas. Completely different wheel styles & different (smaller) diameter wheels.

FJs and that vintage Tacoma gen had smaller size brake calipers and can clear 16” wheels.

The 5th Gen 4Runner got larger brake calipers that required 17” wheels for clearance (I tried to test fit a set of the black 16” TRD FJ Trail Teams wheels on my 2010 TE shortly after buying it and confirmed they would definitely not clear the front calipers :(

I am in the market for a second set of lite ones, for a trailer and matching spares. Shipping from you to me… $$$$ would be to much though.

I traded a set of 4R Trail wheels for the darker FJ ones. Exactly the same except the color.
4Runner: 42611-35420
FJ: 42611-35490
