3 Way Switch (SPDT) help

I've searched and searched...

short question:
Does anyone know of any 3 way, On/Off/On , SPDT switches that will fit in the factory switch locations?

I know that Meso Customs has made some for his puddle light harness:

Longer question:
I just bought the Diode Dynamics SSC2 LED Pods and they have two functions (Standard light & backlight) and their harness comes with this switch:

I was hoping to replace that with a nice in dash factory looking option, if that's not possible, drilling out a factory blank to put the above switch in might work but it's nearly the same width as the blank...

Open to any ideas or mounting options...
Having said that I would rather not drill a hole for the above switch into the dash.

Thanks.

I looked all over for the same kind of switch that you’re looking for and could not find one. What I wound up doing was buying the Meso switch. I’d encourage you to do that also, and soon, since most of his items sell out quickly. Get either the 4Runner switch/harness or the Tacoma variation, it’s the same switch. It’s expensive but was worth it to me.

Your other option is to modify a 4Runner switch blank. Except it’s kind of an ugly job. The backside of the switch has all sorts of extra plastic you have to cut away and it’s kind of a mess.

Happy to support Meso..
my only question is his switch has 10 pins and mine has 3...

Here’s how I used the switch connections for my application. I wired up an anytime control of the puddle lights earlier this year using the Tacoma harness/switch before Meso came out with his wiring harness for the 4Runner.

Check the pins with a multimeter set to ohms to be sure of the switch operation for your setup.

I was in your shoes awhile back...Scoured the internet for threads/forums that could provide a solution...nearly gave up and went with that circular switch you posted. Eventually gave up for awhile and then one day on the trail, I turned on my front camera and was like ...LIGHTBULB this switch could work! lo and behold, they make one for lights lol

I went through the same search when I was wiring my lights in the rear bumper. I wanted to have the option of on/off/auto (when in reverse). I ended up drilling the factory blank and using the Rigid switch. It's ugly so I put it in the Party Mode switch location.

I contacted switch pros and their switch panel didn't have that ability at the time. Don't know if it does now or not.

I was surprised Air On Board didn't have them, or if they did I couldn't find them.

Looks like this switch might work in place of the Blue sea PN2146. The big red switch that comes with the ACR for a dual battery set up.
I will have to do more research on this.
Anyone have thoughts on why this wouldn't work in that application?

So I've got the anytimebackupcamera.com switch...

now I have no idea how to wire the 3 wires from the the Diode Dynamics harness and 3 way switch to the 6 wires of the anytimebackupcamera.com 3 way switch.

The anytime website doesn’t have very good documentation. You’ll need to get out your multimeter and flip the switch positions to figure it out. Use a 9 volt battery to verify which pins are used for illumination.

Hmmm I forgot how I did mine, could pull the switch out this week and try to figure it out again.

Maybe DD can provide some assistance in this case?

Reached out to DD and they didn't know...
Reached out to Anytimebackupcamera.com and haven't heard back...

Watch a ton of install videos on the Anytimebackupcamera system and finally figured it out...

NOTE this picture is just how I tested the wiring, I clipped the spade connectors and wired and used the proper connectors after I figured out the right connections.

Yellow->Green
Red->Red
Blue->Orange

This will but the mains on in position A, the backlight in position B.

If you want the switch lighted with the dashboard, use the blue & gray plus black ground. I didn't care about that step so I'm done.

Thanks!
