Wheel Question

I bought a "new" 3rd gen limited 4runner recently, it will be primarily a road vehicle.. shame..

Anyways I was wondering if I could throw the new 4runner wheels on my rig

Hubcap Haven: ALY69561 Toyota 4Runner Wheel Charcoal Machined #4261135440

those bad boys..

Has anyone done or seen this? will I need some spacers or anything?

Thanks in Advance!

I have no idea, but I think you will not get a lot of feedback on rolling 20's.

Aren't 17's big enough?

You might need a small spacer but I don't think so. It'd be interesting to see.

AZ - what do you mean by response?

As mentioned it will be a road vehicle, no plans to lift or anything as it will be my work car..

It will be entirely for looks haha

Do it. Go out and try!

Then sell me your old rims

I think he was probably saying that most people on here think anything above a 17" wheel is too much wheel for these rigs. They're not the biggest things on the road, so it's not hard to have a wheel take up a lot of it. That being said, I think it is a clean wheel. What size tire are you thinking of running with it?

Jacktalkssmack 04-07-2012 02:09 PM

I dont know what size tire I would throw on them, obviously something with a low profile..

Any ideas?

Probably 235/30/20. Then again, you'd probably be better off asking a Cadillac owner with the stuff you're trying to throw on there...

30 series would be on a car not a truck.
width x sidewall x 2 / 25.4 + wheel size
example 235 x .30 x 2/ 25.4 + 20 = 25.55 tire heigth
