Where to find Factory Service Manuals

A TTORA site that has been hosting FSMs for our trucks has been served with a DMCA notice and we don't have direct access to those links anymore. As Hyde noted in the stickies page, the FSMs are still on line and there's currently an archived page which still has the links to them, but sooner or later the actual FSMs will be pulled as well. Wayback archived page with links to FSMs

Lots of guys have PDF copies of various manuals - if you are looking for a PDF, or are willing to share one you've got, please post up here. I'll keep this OP updated with who has what manuals, and which ones we're looking for but don't have. Since the PDFs themselves won't be hosted on this site, I don't believe that DMCA applies, and even if it does, the worst they can do is force T4R.org to remove this post, so let's get some info out there.

Have you tried the classifieds here , or on Craigslist? The factory manual set is worth it, I have a set for our 1990(3 volumes + update book). It's already paid for itself many times over. You might also try some of the discounting dealers. I bought ours through Toyota, was a little over $100. The detail in it is amazing.
regards

Oh dear god! My computer just fried its hard drive about a month ago and I hadn't re-downloaded the zips, just been viewing them online (some mirror of TTORA I guess). I used that archived site and got the ones for the 2nd gen runner and 93 pickup, but there isn't a link to one for a 2005 Tundra, which definitely existed on TTORA. Anyone happen to have that one? I could really really use that one. The Tundra is full of mystery still...

I have:

85 Truck and 4runner FSM in a single PDF
99 4runner FSM in a single PDF

Great Idea Kid

Not anymore - that's the point of this thread, the NCTTORA site recieved a takedown notice and had to kill the page. The files are still hosted, and if you have them bookmarked or use the archived page you can still reach them for now. Sooner or later though somebody is going to notice and force them to remove the files completely.

Wouldn't this be the same FSM needed for my '88 as well? If so, I'm going to mail you a thumb drive/hard drive and get you to mail it back to me.

The one at the archived link is for an '87 or '88. Download it now while you still can, but if you miss it I'll be happy to share my copy.

NorCalBorn 10-23-2012 09:13 PM

Any NorCal locals, I have the old school FSM's in paper format for all 90-95's as well as some "other" stuff. All is mine, paid for. They can pry 'em from my cold dead hands, but first will have to fight my friends for 'em. You can borrow them here, but not take 'em with ya. :lookout:
