Lift vs ride height list
So in the suspension thread we have a lot of ground-to-fender heights. But given all the suspension setups and tire sizes I think we should start a list measuring from center of wheel to fender. This measurement eliminates the tire size variable.
I think given all the questions about real lift amounts I think this should eliminate some of the redundant threads. So let me start. Heights: Front = 23.5" both right & left Rear = 24" both right and left Suspension: Front - Fox 8 way adjustable piggy back with 650# springs Rear - Fox 8 way adjustable piggy back with OME 895 springs Weight additions: BajaRack, Engel MT-45 Fridge & Slide, armor and 2nd battery. |
Lift vs ride height list
Heights:
Front: 21.5" (sagged a lot due to my ~100lb bumper) Rear: 24" Suspension: Front: Bilstein 5100, set at 2.5" with FJ coils Rear: Fox 2.0 piggyback shocks with FJ coils and Daystar 1.5" spacer 1.25" Bodylift |
Heights:
Front: L=23.5, R=24.5 Rear: L=25, R=25.5 Suspension: Front: ome885's w/ Toytec 1/2" spacer and 5100's at 0" lift. Rear: Toytec superflex coils and 5100's. And a 1" body lift. |
Heights:
Front - L= 22.325" R= 22.75" Rear - L= 22.325" R= 22.5" Suspension: Front - Radflo 2.0 adjustable with 600 lb. Coils (Overland Warehouse spec) Rear - Radflo 2.0 with FJ Cruiser Springs |
This would vary depending on how full the gas tank was, aftermarket bumpers etc and other junk in the vehicle.
|
Heights:
Front = 22.5" Rear = 24" Suspension: Front - Daystar 2.5 and FJ coils Rear - Daystar 1.5 and FJ coils |
Great info guys. Lets keep this going. More options we have, the easier it will be for new questions down the road.
03_4x4 runner - correct. We can't eliminate all variables. But trying to get a list going by removing tire size and wear variable. If people post that they have a xyz bumper folks can take that into acct. my ride height is almost identical (within 1/8") with a full tank of gas vs with quarter tank gas. Other softer suspension might sag more.. |

Lets get some more measurements posted.
