Mountain States Toyota Denver Co

I have bought 4 vehicles from them and I can tell you they are top notch all the way. Best prices I could find, best trade value and easy to deal with. In and out and no pressure. Being the in Car biz myself it is hard for me to find a place that doesnt play games.

I want to second this opinion. Just picked up a 14' Trail from Bo over there. I went to 3 other dealerships first and while all nice they were the typical sales people. They have an amazing selection and the best prices in town or they will beat them. Plus it just feels comfortable there.

On the other hand, the parts department has been really nice to me but I believe someone further up the chain is ruining the experience. I went to buy cross bars and first they said they don't make them for my truck, then they say they do. I buy them but they don't come with hardware. Then I go to put them on and no H blocks. The organization further up isn't the greatest although they are trying really hard to get it right.

Service Department

I get my T4R serviced here and I've been very happy with them. They recommend additional services, but are reasonable and not pushy about it. Will keep taking the truck there for the foreseeable future.

Have been taking my 4runner here about 2 years. Its a large dealership with a very busy service department.

In the last two weeks, I left me car for 90k service & inspection and some preventative maintenance of my choosing: "4x4 service" (fluids), new battery, spark plugs, fuel injector cleaning. While the battery was replaced, the plugs from my drivers side HID ballast were not re-connected so I was driving around without one headlight until I noticed getting out of the car.

My only complaint here is that when I e-mailed my service contact he never reached out or tried to remedy the situation. Not to mention when I picked up the car no one went over the inspection, issues or how the service went. It was just payment and goodbye. Now maybe this was due to the new covid-19 protective measures in place but it really made me just feel like a number in the books. For people who wouldn't understand how to read the service summary or fix the headlights in my situation it would have been a real let down.

Given that my fuel pump is under recall I am really considering taking it to another dealer as I have lost some faith in their service ability.

I have extended service plan with them and the last two years They have been pretty good. I have to take it in on Wednesday for oil change. Will post my experience post service.

Generally I am not a dealer enthusiast but due to time constraints I've tried a few in the Denver area and after a few disappointments, I found a good one Mountain states toyota in Denver off of Broadway and 70th Ave is the best toyota dealer in town. They have been doing warranty work and recall work on my 5th gen including the airbag.. I also have a extended warranty from them for my 5th gen which covers oil changes and othe maintenance
They did the front differential swap because of noise, on my truck. Overnighted the trd diff and installed it. Did an amazing job. Last weekened I did my first oil change on the truck because I waited too long to make an appointment with them before my up coming 3500 mile trip. Found out some of the skid bolts were cross threaded and one was broken. Called them on Sat and talked to the service rep. He apologized and gave me an appointment for 8 am Monday even though they are swamped. They rethreaded all the bolts this morning without cost and I was in an out. They also did all the complimentary stuff and offered a car wash which I declined. Get a hold of Andre Babel he owns a neicly modded 3rd gen and knows all of the toyotas real well

I’ll jump in here with another recommendation for Mountain States. I found them when searching for a new 4Runner last January, and they had been mentioned as a dealer that wasn’t adding mark ups. This was true, I had to wait a while due to my color choice but got one without mark up and the whole buying process was pleasant and no pressure. Haven’t had any service yet, but have heard good things there too.

I really like Mountain States Toyota.

I needed an alignment and was told the schedule was full but walk-ins were welcome.

So I drove over and they worked me into the schedule and had me on my way in a few hours.

The parts department was also a pleasant surprise. I called about OEM radiator hoses and they gave me a nice military discount. Picked up the hoses after the alignment.

Stevenson parts department has also been very good.

These guys are GTG. I started looking for a new 4Runner a couple months ago and after a few weeks of looking all around the Southern region in multiple states I was about to give up. ALL the dealers seemed to have huge markups way over MSRP and very poor inventory. On a boring night I on a whim started looking at dealers WAY cross country from me. Mountain States had what I wanted and at a very good price. Reached out to them and they went over and above to help me out. Flew in to Denver from Arkansas. Julian, my salesperson, picked me up at the airport and drove me to the dealership to finalize the deal. Best car buying experience I have ever had. I wish they were local to me to service my ride. This is how they should ALL do business.

Update: Mtn States service dept has been great. I've had the truck in twice now to correct wheel & tire issues that were no fault of Toyota's (swapped wheels and tires elsewhere, didn't go so well), and they were great - fast and solved issues at no cost to me. They are busy so appointments are not quick to get. Plenty of space and comfy service waiting area, too.
