What's the difference between a double disconnect and single?

Here are some pictures to help everybody with the install. These are front links on a 3rd Gen, but it's the same process for any other Gen.
This is how you should receive the bolts in the box. http://i1059.photobucket.com/albums/...w.jpg~original Step 1. Install the reducer. http://i1059.photobucket.com/albums/...k.jpg~original Step 2. Slide the bolt through the heim. (picture 2 with boots) http://i1059.photobucket.com/albums/...g.jpg~original http://i1059.photobucket.com/albums/...p.jpg~original Step 3. Put on the cone washer. (picture 2 with boots) http://i1059.photobucket.com/albums/...d.jpg~original http://i1059.photobucket.com/albums/...o.jpg~original Step 4. Slide through bolt hole, put nut on back side, and tighten. http://i1059.photobucket.com/albums/...v.jpg~original |
Interesting. Do you offer a warranty?
How about a warranty that says if any piece breaks w/in 5 years you will send the part (say the joint) at cost price. ? |
They look really good btw.
I've found that one of the benefits of custom links is that they are longer and return the sway bar articulation to normal after you have lifted the truck. I have not found the quick disconnect to be that useful. Rather, with proper length extended links you don't even need to disconnect them. |

*your email *3rd gen *red or black bushings *front/rear/or both I'm placing an order today for parts, don't miss out! Mike |
Any options for people who just placed an order for your other links but would like to swap out for these?
|
The warranty is certainly a good idea! I don't think I've heard of any style link breaking before, so it's probably a safe bet haha.

Edit: I was curious and did some searching, and it looks like some guys have broken stock links before. The warranty sounds even better now, although I would definitely have mine disconnected for wheeling, so I don't think I'll have to worry about it :thumb: |
