HID vs LED?

Getting a set of headlights for my '04 Limited and I'm not very knowledgeable RE: benefits of one versus the other. I'm looking at 4300K and 6000K with HID and then just standard LED options. Pros/Cons? Thanks for the help!!

yeah, I gonna leave this right here:

some notes:

LEDs: are generally directional meaning they need a special median to render them effective. Usually means some special projector. Otherwise you will have light where you don't want it aimed. However the aftermarket is getting TONS better. Look for vLed products.

HIDs: are multi-directional meaning they spread light freeking everywhere. This mean you should get projectors (they have cut offs so you don't blind the crap out of oncoming traffic). If you don't and throw HIDs onto your stock reflectors, then......................... yeah, please don't.

Give the market a couple more years, otherwise if you're serious about LED you'll need to scrap projector units from existing vehicles (i.e. 2014+ Corolla, 2014+ Avalon, ect.)

Thanks so much. A buddy has a few sets of SpecD projector headlights, and he has some with the HID kit already installed and some factory LED. Those are mainly what I'm working with for now unless you have another suggestion? Much appreciated!
