Mosquito Pass Traill Conditions
 
If anyone Colorado folks was wondering what the trail conditions are for Mosquito Pass here you go.

Was out at South Park City and decided to check out the trail conditions started snowing when I turned around.

Just for reference, that picture looks like it was taken about 2000 feet below the top of the pass. I imagine it's pretty deep yet on top - the central Colorado mountains got a ton of late snow. I would guess it won't open until after July 1 unless somebody bulldozes it.

once it melts, what's the trail like now for a stock 2016 TEP? I'v been over it in other 4x4s (trooper & amigo), but have not been there for several years...

Haven't been up there in several years, but Traildamage.com rates it at 3-4, which means most stock vehicles with lo-range and decent clearance should be able to make it. Biggest thing I recall is it's steep on the west side, and vehicles w/o low range have trouble making it up the grades.
