How many posts do I need to send a PM?

Trying to talk to another member that has not been on here in a couple of months.

Hoping a PM will show up as an email and he will respond.

I've tried three times but no messages show up in my "sent box."

Answer:
There is no post requirement for sending PM's. The no message in your outbox is a bug.

Shamelessly building the count so I can send that PM.

So I got my post count up to 15 and tried to send a PM again but still no luck.

Hmmmm.

Just adding to the count.

So I'm pretty sure you don't need to post a certain amount of times to send a PM. The PM just doesn't show up in your sent items unless you change your settings to make it show up.

To do so go to User CP in the top left
Edit Options (Under Settings & Options)
Check "Save a copy of sent messages in my Sent Items folder by default

I only know this cause I was so confused as to why I was sending PMs and they didn't show up in my sent items
