Muffler Recommendations
I have a 2000 4Runner 2wd V6 and have been wanting to change the sound up for it. I have seen a lot of thrush muffler videos and am set on with the sound. My question is, is there a difference in sound between the thrush welded vs thrush turbo muffler? Thanks!

Yes.

I have a Thrush 17650 welded muffler on my 98 and it's too loud. I got it for free and my stock muffler was rusted to pieces so I threw it on but if I want something a little more quiet.
The sound sure turns heads though lol. |
I'm running an 18" glasspack. lol.
She's loud. Would not recommend. |
During my search I found some clips of a thrush welded and it really does sound good. Not sure I'd want mine that loud all the time but for a v6 it ain't bad. Myself I think I'll just go for a Borla ProXs.
