This post is mainly for me...but if you appreciate Xs, then feel free to contribute any info on it. If you are NOT an iPhone Xs fan, then please move on to another more interesting thread.

I got an XR to replace my 8 and I'm having a tough time adjusting to the size difference. My wife is on the annual upgrade plan (she's got an 8 Plus) and her upgrade date is coming up shortly. I think I'll just pay hers off and trade it in on an XS, give her the XR and keep the XS since the size is more to my liking. She'll be happy since the usable screen size on the XR is very close to the 8 Plus so I won't have to listen to any complaining about the loss of screen space. Everybody wins.

I got the Xs (non-MAX)...perfect size especially given that I like to have protective case on my phone.

iPhone has never been known to have great cellular speeds...but here are two tests regarding it:

Xs outperforms Xr.

Did you get the X last year as well?

Couldn't justify the upgrade from the X to Xs myself. My iPhone X still performs great.

Yeah...and it was great. Two things made me upgrade...the camera improvements in the Xs are exactly what i wanted in a smartphone camera (highlight control and shadow details by way of Smart HDR)...and Verizon giving me $700 for my X after one year. Oh, and because i do not have much in iCloud storage (50GB), i wanted more phone storage for my kids pics and videos...so, i went for the 512 GB.

Wait, is apples own silicone, the A12X, now outperforming Intel's?

Yes. Without fan. Without wall plug.

Like noted above, iPhone has never been a great performer for signal/data. But at least, nowadays, they are competitive.
