Rokblokz Mudflaps, good cold day project.
Too cold outside today to do much but heat up the garage and take care of a couple mods. Installed heavy duty rear hatch shocks, installed light sensor to auto adjust instrument brightness, and the best mod, installed a set of Rokblokz mudflaps. OEM flaps were just to narrow and did not do a very good job of , flappin'.
The installation of all items was straight forward and easy. The mudflaps are well made, great fitment, and easy to install. Pretty happy with them and at 149$ a good, inexpensive mod. https://www.toyota-4runner.org/redir...laps-2011-2018 The goods: https://i708.photobucket.com/albums/...psdvg7fqqw.jpg https://i708.photobucket.com/albums/...psbcff9wxw.jpg Before: https://i708.photobucket.com/albums/...pstmdac9be.jpg http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...pshrm8zzpi.jpg After: http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...pszndcbltz.jpg http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...psx4b3yfpl.jpg http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...psue0onmbn.jpg http://i708.photobucket.com/albums/w...psfavexlyb.jpg |
I'm almost ready to get those. Which width did you go with?
|
They look awesome, I'd love to see a side by side of the stocks with these

If you have wider tires you may want to go with the plus size. . |

Do these hang lower than the stock ones? I asked rockblokz directly and they somehow had no idea.

I just installed these as well last month. It's tough to tell in this photo, but the regulars work well with 285s. There's a big difference in terms of spray on the side. I'm not sure there's a difference compared to the OEMs in terms of hatch spray.
They do hang lower than the OEMs enough that I'll probably take them off when it's time to hit the trails in the summer. Also - zero rub with the 285s, which is what drew me to them in the first place (OEM fronts were removed with the lift/new wheels). |
did all the holes line up on your rockblokz? for my front , the bottom hole is off by a inch or 2, but i dont know if something was previously removed on mine. i have aftermarket flares and bmc done, so i'm not sure if something was removed that might have shifted the hole.
