offers to buy
We have started getting unsolicited offers to buy our GX. So 2 phone calls since Monday. One through snail mail, and several e-mails. I think one was a wholesaler, I think all the others were from Lexus/Toyota dealers.
Ours is a 2017 with about 13k on the clock. Nothing special about it. We own it, no lease about to renew or anything else. We haven't been on websites looking for new cars or anything like that. So what's up with that? |
Got another call today. Lexus dealer (allegedly) I think she was actually a Lexus sales person. So I said...…."I'm not all that happy with the GX460, so I'll give it to you an $30k in exchange for a new LX570, if not don't bother me!"
She said, we can't do that, but we would make you a great deal. I said no"great deal, that's the ONLY deal". End of conversation. Wish they would quit calling...……….. |
Just people trying to find a sucker to rip off. All it takes is one to make their day.
If its unsolicited its a rip off. |
I figured as much. Can't understand why others are not getting these calls.

Blame your local Toyota or Lexus dealer. I get these letters all the time for my Sienna.
