Clazzio seat covers w/coupon floating around tacomaworld

1 Attachment(s)
I've had clazzio's on my old tundra before, so I decided to go with Clazzio again. Luckily, there was a coupon floating around on tacomaworld, so I was SOOOOOOOLDDDDDD......:lookout:

Website: Clazzio Seat Covers - #1 Trusted Site - Customizable Leather Seat Covers
couponcode is: tacomaworld (100 dollars off 599).

Fitment is extremely good and tight. It was pretty easy to install (although this is my second time around).

I opted for pleather w/ leather inserts. DO NOT CHEAP OUT AND GET ALL PLEATHER. Pleather hardens over time, so on my old tundra, the pleather inserts wasn't soft after 5 years. I learned my lesson this time around, and got leather.

Anyways, here is the pic: Since I literally just finished installing it 5 minutes ago, please excuse the wrinkles, and I know i need to do some minor adjustments to the seat covers and the wrinkles will straighten itself out when I park it in the sun in a few days. Otherwise, not bad for 5 bills.

Anyways, cheers!!!

here are more detailed pics some people were asking me for:

Keep in mind the wrinkles will work itself out if you park it in the sun. I'll probably readjust everything in a few months depending on how motivated or unmotivated I am.

Also, I wanted to add that you do not have to remove the seats from the vehicle to install, or remove the original covers.

Cheers

Ordered mine a couple of days ago for my new T4R. I installed them on a 2017 F150 recently and they completely smoothed out in a couple of days and look almost factory. Great product!

Was the center console cover part of the set?

Mine showed up yesterday..plan on installing over the weekend..seem pretty straightforward..question, the straps that are underneath front seat covers. Did you have to do anything special with them?

Here's an update on my Clazzio order and install.

They're Dark Gray vinyl with Light Gray leather inserts and red thread for the stitching. These are the made in USA expedited covers.

nope, i just hanged it off anything under the seat frame that would keep it secure. You can tie them off to the seat frame but I'm a lazy mfer

Looks good..I got the gray inserts with black..installed the drivers side yesterday..was hot as hell outside and I was sweating like a pig..probably took me the better part of 45 minutes, but now I know what I'm doing..

unfortunately, I tore the cover where the holes are for the headrest..you can't even see it, but I should have been more patient..

looking to get the rest done over the weekend..

I need to get these ordered... I am tired of my dog getting drool and mud in my cloth seats...

curious, what was the total turnaround time from when you ordered until they arrived?

thanks

I paid to have the expedited manufacturing..that means they make them at their facility in Cali instead of China..placed my order on the 5th and they arrived this past Wednesday..

On another note, I'm having an issue with the rear headrest covers..they use these funky plastic j-hooks to close up the bottom instead of velcro..

Anyway, the fronts weren't a problem, but I can get the hooks for the rear covers to seat. It's almost like there isn't enough material to grab on to..I emailed Clazzio and left a message. Hopefully they'll be able to get it straightened out quickly.

there is a video on youtube on a install on a prius. That's the video I would follow. As for the headrests, its made of foam, or something similar, so you can really smush it down to get it to fit. I turned it upside down on my lap, and squished the headrest with my body as i pulled the cover over it (and then closed it with that big J hook). Also, make sure its on the right way (front to back, etc). I put it on the wrong way, the first time, and it wouldn't close.

The folks at clazzio got back to me really fast about the headrest covers...turns out I installed the hooks incorrectly..
once I saw the video it all made sense..

then I hit the second snag..while installing the back covers, I noticed they didn't have any provision for the strap used to pull the rear seats up..should have been a slit or something at the far back of the seat cover..when I contacted clazzio, they said sometimes the factory forgets to cut them..guess I should have looked before I put the cover all the way..made it a b**ch to get them back off..kind of bothers me that I need to slice a hole in my brand new seat covers but I guess it's not that big of a deal.

I'll post up some pics when I finish the install.
