Sorry the pics are not good because I took them in a rush (I am not a good photographer either).

I just got back from the shop apparently the only one down here in So Florida, drove about an hour. Paid $225.00 + $99.00 for the alignment. To me is more than worth it and justified!! :bigok:
I hope you guys like it.:biggrin2:

Still rubbing a bit....a lot less than without the lift. Will do some trimming tomorrow.

I am happy like a kid in a candy store with a lot of money to spend!! :bigok: :biggrin2:

Nice looking ride.

Looks great! What size rims and tires are they?

husky62 04-21-2007 10:01 PM

Thank you guys. The wheels are 18x9" and the tires Nitto Terra Grapplers 285x60xR18". It took me awhile to decide for the wheels and tires but gather a lot of information from this great forum!! :bigok:

Thanks everyone here!!:awais:

Damn. Man o man, I'm telling you that looks just awesome! Not long ago I was saying to myself no way will I lift my truck, and f*ck it all up for no reason. Now you got me me now thinking about lifting my brand new '07 Limited `Runner I just got last month! :D I was hoping to keep it stock at least for awhile before I got sideblinded by someone on this forum. Oh well! :)

Is that 3 inches, both front and rear? I thought the front was usually lifted a tad more, to help level it out.

Nice looking 4Runner you have there! :D

Thanks so much juneau92.
I bought my 2006 last January and went crazy already with modifications. The lift kit is the cornfed 3" front & 2" rear and it looks real leveled on flat but in the pics is sitting on my driveway which have a little inclination. I love the feeling as I am driving over everybody else and with the additional meat from the 285's feels more planted.

BTW: Jason @ Burtman Industries is a great guy easy to deal with and very helpful...............put up with all my impatience... :bigok:

Looks real nice, I like those wheels, do you know what the difference between those and the mb gunner 8s is? they look the same to me. I was, and still are looking at the gunner 6s in a 17 inch size, I really like that style.

Husky, OH MAN !!!!!! That thing is sweeter than sweet !! It has to be one of my all time favorite set ups that I have seen here.

CONGRATS... from a envious fellow Galactic gray owner.

How bad did they rub after the lift before you did any cutting ?

I haven't done any trimming yet (just got them installed late yesterday). They are rubbing on the front mud flap when full turning in reverse and a bit when going forward, I will remove them today until I get a better idea or figure it out how to trim it.

Hi Pirate VI, Here is a pic of both rims, as you can see they look similar but they are not the same.....I liked better the V drive a matter of taste I guess:)

Sweet, sweet, sweet!! Okay, maybe I'll do this to mine, maybe not. Have to think about it for awhile. But I'm definately thinking, that's for sure! Sure does look nice!!!!!:D

Tell me how it rides, husky62. Taller, you said you liked that and I can imagine. How does it take corners? A little top heavy and slower feeling? Is the ride any rougher? How do you feel driving 70-75mph on the freeway, does it feel okay?

Thanks man for your thoughts.

Juneau92, The feeling is yes a bit slower on response also a bit harder or firmer the ride, but is not too noticeable (I am way picky). In corners of course some how more body roll but not unsafe or weird feeling, is manageable. Driving 70-75mph on the freeway is not problem, actually I'd went all the way to 100mph (crazy I know but needed to check) and felt OK. All of this considering I live close to the coast with high mph winds on the freeway, so I am pretty sure lots of people would not feel a difference whatsoever.........I think.

Do I like it? I love it. Would I do again? Without hesitation. Our 4runners are of course SUV/Trucks that call attention even with the stock set up, but in my case I did never experienced so many compliments......seriously to begging with while at the shop yesterday, today after church/mass and just parking on my driveway, a little too much attention for my taste but I am a very proud father.......I guess.

Hopefully this answer your questions my friend!!:biggrin2:
