Selling my beloved 3rd gen, 1999 4Runner Limited 4x4 with 175 K miles. I have a 5th gen 4Runner and need room on my driveway for a new roommate.

Runs great. Exceptionally maintained. Have all paperwork. All major maintenance done. Oil and filter changes every 5K with Mobile 1 Synthetic. Clean California car. No leaks. I'm the 2nd owner; original owner was a mom with kids in Marin, never off-roaded. I've taken it on some fire roads and light terrain but nothing hard on the vehicle. Excellent, reliable candidate for lifting/off-roading.

OEM Features: Tow package, 4WD (no e-locker), power everything, power seats, sliding moon/sun roof, rear climate control, leather, heated seats, running boards, fog lights, cruise control, rear tanau cover, roof rack with cross bars.

New battery, new headlight bulbs, new starter, new steering rack with alignment, new belts (all 3) new spark plugs, new idle control valve gasket, new valve cover gaskets, new cam plugs, new rear axle seals and rear diff fluid (new ABS rings, new rear wheel bearings on both sides), new master cylinder, new stainless steel brake lines in rear (have front set in box), new rear brake shoes, new fuel filter, new diff breather port. A number of years ago did new OEM UCAs, LCAs, bushings, tie rods and Billstein shocks. The Billies are a little too stiff IMHO. Engine bay is very clean and has bull horn connected to CB radio.

Much of the work I've done on this car is documented here: https://www.toyota-4runner.org/3rd-g...pic-heavy.html

Mods/Add-ons:
OEM 2002 4Runner sport grille, sport hood, sport skid plate and tail lights. Rear Old Man Emu heavy duty springs (no rear sag!), rearview mirror with integrated backup camera on rear license plate frame, very nice Katzkin leather seats and center console with brand new OEM seat foam with added dual-setting seat heaters on both front seats, plush after-market carpeting in forward cabin, ash tray CB radio mod, maglite flash lights mounted on both front seats. Front breaks upgraded to larger Toyota Tundra V8 13WL rotors and pads. Tires are one size larger than stock but no rubbing, BFG KO 265/75/R16 with plenty of life left. Yakima Forklift twin bicycle roof rack.

Issues: Normal wear and tear for a car this age, few minor dings, paint chips, peeling paint on wheel center caps (common), AC is a tad weak, might need a recharge soon. Fan speed control knob is a little glitchy. Needs new wiper blades, courtesy, door-open dome light bulb is out, rear defrost functions intermittently, likely due to a small impact on the rear hatch that jarred the wiring loose and damaged the license plate bezel (off of a 1997) which crimped the sheet metal a little around the top of the bezel. I have the original 1999 license plate bezel with a fresh coat of matching body colored paint on it ready to swap with the damaged one. There's a little cracked hole inside the rear trunk area passenger side and I do have a clean replacement panel. Also have a used OEM rear trunk area carpet in better shape than the one currently in there. CB radio needs a re-tune.

That’s an honest and proper vehicle. Good luck selling. Better luck for whoever is buying.
