Marlin Crawler HD Lower Control Arm Frame Brace - 2010+ 4Runner

Was browsing some options to beef up my cam tabs and came across these. Didn’t see any threads on it so I wanted to start one.

Historically everyone goes TC cam gussets. This seems like a cool alternative (still works if you have already upgraded the cam tabs).

I like the idea of bracing the lower control arm frame area.

Hopefully my set will be here next week so I can burn them in this weekend.

Anyone else running these?

Thanks for posting this, it looks like a worthwhile Thanksgiving consideration. But has anyone had issues? Looks like it protects the alignment hardware which sounds reasonable. I would like to learn more.

I like protection but not cosmetics. I don't run A-arm skids. I just repaint the LCAs when I scratch them.

Click the link and see all the info. I don’t think you fully understand what they are for. It’s nothing for cosmetic. It strengthens the section the LCAs bolt to and strengthen the cam tab area.

Yes, these look more functional than A Arm skids, I will have to take a closer look.

dot_tom ... did you end up burning those in? I’m considering this option on my ‘07. Thanks

I installed a set 3 months ago. Havent lost an alignment yet. Real pleased with them!

If I could weld these would be on my Runner … just because.

Photos. Don't have a photo with the skids on but the RCI front skid clears it nicely.
