Marlin Crawler HD Lower Control Arm Frame Brace - 2010+ 4Runner
Was browsing some options to beef up my cam tabs and came across these. Didn’t see any threads on it so I wanted to start one.
Historically everyone goes TC cam gussets. This seems like a cool alternative (still works if you have already upgraded the cam tabs). I like the idea of bracing the lower control arm frame area. Hopefully my set will be here next week so I can burn them in this weekend. Thanks for posting this, it looks like a worthwhile Thanksgiving consideration. But has anyone had issues? Looks like it protects the alignment hardware which sounds reasonable. I would like to learn more.
I like protection but not cosmetics. I don't run A-arm skids. I just repaint the LCAs when I scratch them. |

I installed a set 3 months ago. Havent lost an alignment yet. Real pleased with them!

If I could weld these would be on my Runner … just because.

Photos. Don't have a photo with the skids on but the RCI front skid clears it nicely.
