*Another* Limited key fob, lulz

I was bored, so I did a thing. I wanted to make it about as small as possible without losing usefulness. Goal achieved?

These Limited key fob threads are interesting to me because mine is always in my pocket or bag, and therefore, I never think about it.

The idea of a unique/different one never even crossed my mind for that reason.

Yeah, I didn't really NEED a different fob. I mean, this isn't a serious project. I was just bored at work running parts on the CNC and didn't really care for those other erector set looking options so I whipped something up. Really just wanted to see how small and how few parts I could get away with. Turns out two parts, four screws, and 50% the size of the original is the answer. ; )

Maybe it'll inspire a better option from someone else?

Edit: Ok, i lied. I care about it a little bit. I realized it needed button protectors...

Why would you not want the mechanical key with you that is on the factory fob?

I already have a different one secured to the car in case I lose my keys on a bike ride, so taking it off the fob seemed like a reasonable thing to do. Even after just a half a day, it makes a noticeable difference in my pocket
