Anyone run steel wheels?

Like the D-window or 8 hole design? They come in our sizes that a lot of people run, but I have yet to really find anyone running them on a 5th gen?

Anyone?

IMO they're simply too heavy. Also, the powdercoat will eventually peel and rust as well, if you live in a rust belt state.

I think they're more of a Jeep thing, where a lot of guys run them because you can hammer them back into shape of you bend one to get off the trail. Also on beaters/wheeling rigs where one doesn't care about weight/style.

I think a lot of 4R owners don't want the extra weight, and are concerned more with style.

Only way I'd run steelies on mine is if they had a set of winter or trail only tires mounted on them.
