Crooked Gobi Ladder

4 Attachment(s)
Just put my Gobi Ladder on but am having a fitment issue. I followed the instructions from Gobi. Measured and re-measured the top plate prior to placing it and pulled down on the ladder while my buddy put on the bottom plate. Unfortunately, it looks like the front is lifted up, making the ladder crooked. I am also afraid that it might be hitting the paint.

Anyone have this problem or know a solution? Think I can leave it like this? I can live with it being a little crooked, but don't want to put a dent/scar the top.

Thank you for any help!

Pretty common issue. Mine is like that. There is a pretty extensive thread on it somewhere around the forum, just search for gobi ladder install.

All joking aside, either the top of the ladder mounting portion is crooked, or the bottom is not lined up correctly. Do you have pics of the whole back from top to bottom of the ladder?

Were you on absolute flat ground when you used a level to make sure the bottom plate was installed level?
