Any tuners out there that can tune a Magnuson Setup?

Hi all, I am wondering if anyone knows of a tuner (by tuner, I mean someone who creates custom tunes, not the actual tuner hardware) who works with 4Runners that have the Magnuson supercharger? I would like to add things like an intake, headers, a smaller pulley, bigger injectors, fuel pump, etc. but without a tuner who can make the proper changes to the ECU to work with these additional mods, I am kinda stuck. I reached out to Vivid Racing, they do not work with the Magnuson.

Please post up if you have a Magnuson and have had it tuned or if you know or even have heard rumors of a tuner that works with them. Thanks in advance!

I'm pretty sure any intake, pulley or injectors other than stock will void Magnuson's warranty.

That's not what I was asking, nor do I care. If I was worried about warranty, I wouldn't have modified my truck.

Nope. That was the case when the kits were released two years ago. But they actually have tuning parameters for most intakes and cat-back exhausts now.

Pulleys, injectors, and headers... yeah, probably void. But they're up to speed on the basic upgrades.

As far as who can do it? Sorry, can't help there.

Wonder why Vivid said no guess they only do box tunes for the masses?

I have no experience with these guys but.

It also seems like hptuners is slowly supporting Toyota's. Maybe the 4R soon?

I know this is a long shot but Steve aka Gadget from URD might know someone in the business that can help you. Yes I know it's not the same SC but he knows the Toyota aftermarket industry very well. Call him, he is a very nice genuine gentleman, pick his brains, ask relevant questions.
Good luck

How do you get an updated tune from them for the intake and cat-back? I already have a cat-back installed and I just ordered the afe intake, so I'd love a tune straight from them for these mods. Do you have to call them or how does that work? Thanks.

I'd try these guys:

I thought there was in issue with custom tunes on these engines. Something about the computers being a bit complex? I could be wrong but I swear I read that last year at some point.

Hence ONE (also work to lower the compression ratio) of the reasons nobody is running a turbo. Or anything other than SC kits.

Correct me if i'm wrong. Might be some FJ's idk.

There's no complete plug and play tuning system for Toyotas. HP tuners has been able to crack some models and years but nothing for Runners. When they do, you can show up to a dyno and have it tuned however you want. Until then it's canned tunes and most require a new ECU to go back to stock. You may not be able to tune the way you're thinking.

I just got my kit installed and haven't had to deal with changing the tune, so I'd suggest you check with them directly. If you have the tuning module that comes with the SC kit, I know its pretty straightforward to put a tune in. How you get the tune? Dunno.

Would be nice to custom dyno tune, never been a fan of box/chip tunes (one size fits all). You would think with all the station wagons...4runners are out there, more aftermarket support would be there. I guess most are happy with bolting on a rooftop tent and going to the mall.

I have a handheld tuner that can modify the ECU. Like I said in the original post, I'm not looking for hardware, I'm looking for someone to create the actual tune for me.

Thanks, I will give them a call. I actually have a tune from them on my Miata. They use EcuTek to tune, so I won't be able to use the one that came with my Mugnuson, but that's fine with me.
