Don't use any wheel cleaner on TRD center caps. It will peel clear coat.

I use the auto soap with wax in it .. works good on the paint and plastic. I keep my vehicles 10-20 yrs. I also spray the tires with silicone paint/plastic safe. wheels clean easy because the silicone keeps debris from sticking eating at the paint.
silicone spray also keeps the rubber from cracking. homedepot silicone .

I didn't watch the video but I use Maguires wheel cleaner, it does a good job of removing brake dust, especially on the back of wheel. I take mine off in spring and give them a blast every year. I also wax them.
