Wheel Question - SR5 vrs TRD Pro Wheels

Excuse the noob question but, currently have a 2014 SR5 with snowflake wheels. I am considering getting a set of TRD Pro Wheels. Are they both the same size 17x7? Is the offset the same or do they stick out a bit further? Do the same lug nuts work? My new tires are on route and I'm considering the wheel swap at the same time. Finally, anyone with a black SR5 running the gray TRD wheels? If so, any photos? I'm kind of leaning that way for some contrast. Thanks all!

Answer to question: yes

The SR5 are 17x7.5 whereas the TRD Pro wheels are 17x7. Different offsets.

I belive you are mistaken.

The SR5 is also 17x7. The TRD Off Road wheels are 17x7.5

I can confirm the TRD Pro wheels stick out a little further. I went from SR5 to TRD Pro wheels.

Not black but some food for thought.

I got these during the TRD 40% off anniversary sale. They look much better than the SR5 wheels!

Did the same thing.

Yeah both are 17x7 but different offset. TRD pro rims are 4 lbs lighter which help offset my heavy new tires:doh::madgrin:.

They are not the same width. If I remember correctly, the SR5 wheels are stamped 17x7.5

Here is a photo of the boxes when I picked up my TRD PRo wheels from a Toyota Dealership. You can see '17x7' clearly on top of the boxes.

my 2018 SR5 are 7" wide, I measured them.

szuyung3000 10-08-2019 05:04 PM

the factory SR5 and the TRD PRO wheels are both 17x7" dimension whereas the SR5 wheel have positive 15mm offset and TRD PRO have negative 4 offset. The Trail Edition/TRD Offroad is 17x7.5" dimension

szuyung3000 10-08-2019 05:05 PM

the look better and also the are about 5 pounds lighter each than the SR5 wheels
