2003 2004 4runner front cv axle interchange with FJ
I see at CVJ Axles, they list the front axle shaft for the 2003 or 2004 4Runner as the same as 4Runners 2003 to 2016, FJs 2007 to 2014, Tacomas 2005 to 2016. Toyota lists different part number for most of the axles after 2009. Will the later year axles fit properly on a 2003 or 2004, both of our 4Runners need new boots. I was going to get one from one of the local auto recyclers but was unsure of the interchangeability of the years and models. CVJ is a good option but I am in a bit of a time crunch on our 2003, I need it replaced this week. Any help appreciated. Thanks Phil
