Official Army Green Thread! Let's see 'em
I can't seem to find a dedicated place for everyone to share their new AG T4R's, so lets put them here.
I picked mine up about 2 weeks ago from a North Alabama dealer and wasted no time getting started on it. Here she is as of today. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...c41a872a_c.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...c8f13e1c_c.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...217998a6_c.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...7e4f173f_c.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...e628faa1_c.jpg |

Forum member OffKamber has the nicest army green build so far. IMO. Lots of great mods also. Ultimate Mall Crawler Build

Had to take a quick pit stop on my way to work to take a photo here.

Official Army Green 2020 TRD Pro thread

Post your pics as you get them ....
Got mine on Friday (yes, decided to go this route instead of the TRD OFP with KDSS) and absolutely love it. Exhaust is surprisingly loud. Next up: tint + rock sliders (RCI ?) + 1/4 panel covers in matte black to match the trim. Would love to get 285’s but don’t want to mess with stock suspension, and I read through as much of that 87 post thread on the subject as I could...... and still am not sure as to the right answer. Also debating on whether to just do a paint sealant every 6 months vs ceramic pro ceramic coating. I’m leaning towards the former. Early feedback on the ride: the Nittos drove great in the rain on Friday — much better than my KO2’s did on my prior GX460. The fox shocks are just amazing — what KDSS? lol Here are some pics: Attachment 347054Attachment 347055Attachment 347056Attachment 347057Attachment 347058 Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
Congrats on the new rig!
|
DAMN that looks good! Congrats on the new ride!
|
Looks awesome!! Waiting on mine to come in. I think when you get some miles on it the exhaust will tone down.
|
I saw a green trd this am at the dealership near me. I noticed the exhaust is re routed to the side on the new trd’. My salesman said they got a new cat back exhaust, Which make it sound differently than previous year's.

I haven't see one in person yet but, from the photos that looks awesome.
I own a 2019 Pro in black (which I love) but, if the Green was available then, I probably would have gone that way. Very nice! |
Nice! I just put a deposit down on one today, it's supposed to come in within the week according to the dealer. Can't wait!
You might want to merge with this thread: Army Green 4Runners! Let's see 'em |
I also started one here. Maybe mods can merge them.
Official Army Green Thread! Let's see 'em Already got a 2/1.5" lift and 285's on it. Congrats on yours |
Halusha and Gswift......
.......thanks for the links.
Maybe the mods can merge them as you said. Otherwise, i'll post my pics on one of those two threads. Just debating if i should wait until after the tint, sliders, and 1/4 panel covers get put on. |
Very nice! If I hadn't already put a bunch of parts on my 2017, I'd consider trading up to a '20. I was getting some service done last week and Allen Toyota in Gulfport, MS had a Tacoma Pro and a Tundra Pro in Army Green and they both looked awesome!

Im not a fan of the mud flaps and searched on here for options for removing them and found that most people were just cutting them to fit the shape of the bumper, then I stumbled onto these mudflap delete's by Revtek for 39.95
I didn't want to cut mine since I normally don't keep a vehicle for more that 16-18 months. Here they are after I got them installed. Not a bad solution for $40 bucks. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...d3fba909_z.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...227e383f_z.jpg |

Part of the posse!
Hey everyone,
First post. As soon as I heard that the 2020 TRD Pro was going to be Army Green I put down a deposit. Picked it up from the dealer 10/18 and am loving it. Traded up from my 2003 SR5 that I've run for the past 16 years :) Put the black overlays on and have a Victory4x4 rack in the garage. Gonna install that tomorrow. Many thanks to the forum for all the info over the past year. Greg https://i.imgur.com/uPZzQs8h.jpg https://i.imgur.com/TO3oyeGh.jpg https://i.imgur.com/0K04EUE.jpg?1 |

Those clips make me miss NYC for a sec. But, no this one is from South Park. Rather old episode. |
I just picked up a 2020 TRDP (not AG) this weekend and I had a question about the dual climate control. On my 300 mile drive home I noticed that the automatic climate control did a terrible job at controlling the temperature. We have 3 other vehicles with automatic climate control (one of which is a 99 3rd gen limited) and they maintain a pretty consistent interior temperature. Usually just set it to 72 and it adjust the fan speed and temperature accordingly. When it gets a little cold I might bump it up to 74. On my new 4runner you could hang meat inside at 72 even though it was 60 outside. The fan speed would never drop bellow 3 lines. Yes I had the auto button pushed in. I would have to crank it up into the 80's for it to be remotely comfortable. However, after a while it would begin to get too hot.
Just wondering if this is normal or if I may have an issue with the inside temperature sensors. I also noticed that there is an option to turn on and off the automatic climate in the head unit settings menu. Mine is currently set to on. |
Stopped by the U.S Space & Rocket Center today and grabbed a couple pics.
Living in Huntsville, its easy to take this attraction for granted. You drive by the Saturn V Rocket everyday and barely even glance over at it, but when you do decide to stop, its always a cool experience. https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...69de5c77_z.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...9af9b343_z.jpg https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...aca094bc_z.jpg |

2020 AG 2.5/1.5 Burtman Industries Spacer lift /1.25 Spidertrax 285/75/17 BFG KO2's /Sprint Booster V3/ BMC
Absolutely love the ride on 34's. Wasnt sure what kind of power loss I'd be getting with a 60lb tire but the vehicle handles them well with the sprint booster. |

Any suggestions for bulbs? the high beams are really weak on this thing.
Love mine, it even matches the wife's "sarge green" Wrangler unlimited! I have the predator running boards on order https://i.imgur.com/7hzQFsN.jpg |

Do u have a lift to fit these? |
Whoa these look great. Was a little skeptical when I first saw the leaked pics but the color definitely grows on you.

Yes I have. I just swapped my OEM suspension with King and it gave me ~3” of lift. I am pretty sure it helps to feet 285’s with no problem.https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...bac184786f.jpg Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk |
