SOLD.

I really hate to do this, but the time has come to move on to other projects (Tacoma SAS on tons/40s), so the time has come to sell my 2000 4Runner (185K miles). I am the 2nd owner, and have the original window sticker as well as a stack of receipts from the first owner. It was completely stock until roughly 2016. This thing has driven me to Colorado and back in 2017, and this year drove me to Colorado, then Moab, UT and back home again. I wouldn't hesitate to drive it across the country without warning.

This past year it handled some very tough trails in Moab, and made it home without a hiccup. At 185K miles there is still tons of life in the motor/drivetrain, and is incredibly capable and has never had any problems off-road.

Mods (in no particular order)
- B&M 70268 Transmission cooler (2017)
- SPC Upper control arms (2018)
- Toytec Bilstein/Eibach front suspension (2017)
- Toytec Superflex Rear coils (2017)
- 10" travel FJ80 Icon Rear shocks, copied from Ripcord's original design (2017)
- Savage Front/Engine skids (2017)
- Savage Sliders (2017)
- Lotus Control arm skids (2017)
- Rokmen Offroad Rear lower Control arms (2017)
- Uniden CB Radio/Firestik antenna/homemade antenna mount (2017)
- Scangauge II with transmission temp programmed (2015)
- Tundra Brake upgrade - 231wl (2016)
- 315/75R16 Maxxis Bighorns on Procomp aluminum wheels x 5 (2019)
- Spartan rear "lunchbox" locker (2019) Can be quirky on road, have parts to return to stock if you’d like
- 26" light bar on toggle switch, spotlights wired to factory fog switch
- 1" body lift (2017)
- "custom" cut up front bumper for more clearance/approach angle
- Front lower control arm Whiteline Poly bushings and SPC camber adjustment bolts (2018)'

Maintenance
- Transmission drain and fill annually every spring since ownership (Bought in 2012)
- Timing belt, water pump, thermostat, etc. done with OEM parts via aircabinman on eBay (2017, 152K Miles)
- New rear drums, shoes, front calipers, pads, brake fluid flush (2019)
- NGK plugs and wires (2019)
- Both o2 Sensors (Rear 2018, front 2019)
- Air Filter (2019)
- Valve cover gaskets w/ cam plugs (2019)
- Fresh 75W90 mobil1 synthetic gear oil in both diffs/Transfer case (2019)
- Rack Doctor rebuilt Steering rack, inner and outer Tie rods (2018)
- Lower ball joints, OEM (2017)

Not-so-greats
- This is a PA car - so the frame is not perfect. There was some rust around the control arm brackets, but has all been cut out and fully boxed with minimum 3/16" steel (pictured). Also, rear body mounts were shot, so replaced with a set from one of deathcouger's partouts. Factory mounting points still line up perfectly. Body is rust FREE
- ~4 weeks ago the passenger rear quarter met a rock wall on a trip to Rausch Creek Offroad Park (The Hills trail, for anyone familiar). Used a port-a-power and body tools to push it out as close to possible without completely body working/repainting.
- Both front CV's have a torn boot. These have been torn for almost 3 years and have had no ill effects. I have a Carquest brand CV brand new in box
- Both stock chrome bumpers have peeling bed liner on them. Could be touched up or, ideally, replaced with steel bumpers

I actually stole/borrowed the plans that Ripcord used on his second build - Ripcord's 2002 Sport Ed. Version 2.0 - Page 12 - Toyota 4Runner Forum - Largest 4Runner Forum . Used the same shocks too, just moved the mount down slightly as I didn't need all the up travel.

Shot of my mounts attached.
