Coolant leaking above oil filter even though water pump replaced 10k miles ago

I got what seems to me like a water pump leak. It's the 3.4 5VZFE and according to the previous owner and receipts the water pump, thermostat, and timing belt were all replaced around 215k miles. Currently has 228k miles. Is it possible for the water pump to fail that prematurely. Maybe some other parts can fail around that area( see attached picture. Not mine but exact location and leak I have) Thank you for any help.Help with coolant leak under thermostat please | Tacoma World
