Chinaland TRD OFFROAD/PRO Carbon Dashboard trim

Anyone grab one of these to cover the one piece of trim that matches nothing?

All kinds of trim pieces offered on ebay.

I don't want to guinea pig when I'm saving for armor. It could be pure unrefined chinesium or it could be a decent match.

Pick a vender too. I bet you they are all from the same place the pro grill knock off dangles came from.

Looks like a shiny reflector that I wouldn’t want when it was sunny out.

Good point...

This is definitely a functionless pure aesthetic mod tho so it was a dumb idea before you said that haha. Makes me want to just wrap it flat black and call it good.

Still curious tho. Might look super clean.

Personally I don't see the point in installing it unless I have that part severely scratched. Also, 'real' carbon fiber is not that glossy... they could have made it matte at least!

I saw this one, and its really just a flat sticker.

The one from china is at least a full overlay.

Real carbon fiber can be ass glossy as you want it to be. I believe they call it clear coat in the industry.

Maybe you don't own a trd or/pro but the center console looks exactly like the piece I posted. So if you did matte it would look out of place. The point here is to bring continuity into the interior.

That's an overlay look at the edges and double sided tape. Looks hydro dipped.

Its from china, so...... Plus, you've never seen "shiny" carbon?

i have a similar carbon fiber dash in my raptor. its not that bad.
getting ready to replace it with a $3500 kit soon. the plastic pieces cost maybe $200-300 as a full set.
