2019 and 2020 TRD Pro Rack - Any Way To Make Useful?

OK, I have a 2019 TRD Pro.

I'm a pretty optimistic guy, so I've tried to find an way to make the "Pro" roof rack useful (so I can throw some boxes, tools, etc. up there.)

I even went as far as to get a few extra rails to try and set up a way to strap down some boxes, but due to the goofy design (the corners are rounded, the top bars are closer in than the bottom bars) I literally can't find a sensible way to use the rack.

Before I drop $800 on a new roof rack, have any 2019/2020 TRD Pro owners found a way to use the rack to mount any reasonable amount of gear?

Might cost a bit when it comes out but baja is working in a drop in basket for the pro rack

I can't believe how little information there is about these rack being used. I can't even find information on the maintenance or adjustments of the crossbars. Anyone know of ANYTHING out there?

Itís also steel which is ok but not ideal. Still weighing the pros and cons of just using the $ for a replacement aluminum rack.

So, 200lb capacity. Is that static or dynamic? Iím still trying to figure out the best direction for using the top of the truck as a shooting (camera) platform, and I weigh over 200lbs.

This could be an option.

This seems useful but for that price it seems totally not worth it.

Its definitely pricey, but I will say its a contender for me because you will never have to worry about leaking from installing a new roof rack.
