Climate control knobs
I decided to try something today after monkeying around with my climate knobs. I noticed that they can break down pretty much completely, so, I pulled them apart and rattle canned them a matte black. Unfortunately it's a bit dark now that they've had time to dry but I think they came out pretty good. Will have to update on how it holds in time, may get some new ones later if they don't hold up and try plastisol next time, Im just a bit old-school still.
I think it looks pretty good personally, but it would look really cool imo, if I could somehow black out the rings, and instead of white lines it had gradient lines from blue to redhttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...889f433205.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...e72adc1ef2.jpghttps://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/201...d4066142a4.jpg Sent from my S61 using Tapatalk |
Where did you see you could purchase the knobs? It looked like the entire heater control assy to me, I have one that got scratched

Pretty cool! I've thought about doing something similar. A lot of people seem to like the giant knobs. I really don't understand what people see in them. I think the giant knobs are really ugly so anything to help less accentuate them is a win in my book. I have even thought about machining some custom smaller knobs. I may try painting for now though. Thanks!
