Falken Wildpeak Deal

Figured Id post this here as it is where I lurk the most and the 4th gen people are my people.

Falken has a sale on Wildpeak AT 265-70-17 115T at $120.30. They may be selling out this years model with possibly an upgrade next year

I havent been able to find a tire shop to match this

If you're looking for an AT or slightly bigger tire here you go

https://www.amazon.com/Falken-Wildpe...s%2C166&sr=8-1

Sorry! Something went wrong!

Yeah I got America's Tire to price match amazon. Discount Tire/America's Tire has GREAT customer service, and they price match anybody. I got the warranty they offered but I kind of regret it because I don't drive that much. Loving the tires in terms of look and feel and I saved over $200 compared to the costco Ko2 deal.

This is a fair price on these... I was thinking about waiting until Spring to replace mine but I've been known to make semi-rash decisions to save a few bucks :lmao:

Cheapest set of four on the 'Bay come out to around $135 a tire, so we are looking at a $60 savings altogether - normally Falken has a rebate for $65 or $75 off a set of tires a couple times a year, so its in the ballpark!

I'd be real interested to know the date codes on these tires. I've been burned buying tires that are new, but 3 years old. I'll post a Q for the seller and report back if he answers. If the dates are good I'll be buying a set.

Edit - did a search on the Q&A section for that ad, and the tires are dated 2017. Might be good for some of you guys, but I'm not buying tires that are almost 3 years old.

Yea I was under the impression that these were direct from Falken. It looks like different suppliers/ warehouses sell when ordered through amazon based on the closest one to where you live

So I think the date of manufacture can vary depending on the warehouse. But reportedly the 55k warranty should stand

I have amazon prime so I’ll get to return it for free if I don’t like how it looks.

ADDENDUM
- actually it looks these are sold through amazon. There are other sellers and anyone can respond to any questions about the tires- IE the seller may not be responding. If people are interested i can report back what I receive from amazon

I was able to get discount tire to match this price today. Just a little over 600 for the tires and installation, fees and taxes. Great deal!

I just ordered these a few days ago and they came in. Production date code = May 2019. Mounted and balanced with minimal weight.

These just went down to $116.10 per tire, but it only says one left... BUT If you price match through Discount Tire Direct, they will go lower than the price by a couple bucks, and have a ton in stock.

Good deal, but i'll probably just wait 'til spring and buy some after winter

How do these compare for road noise and wear? I've been thinking about purchasing these for a while and it's pretty hard to beat that price. Read a few reviews online but just curious if anyone here experience with them?

Currently running Bridgestone Dueler at revo 2 that are getting worn but still ride and sound fine

My previous 4runner had a brand new set of Cooper discoverer at3 and they seemed a bit louder than the worn Bridgestone set but were a better tire IMO

I had the same size cooper At3s on my other 4runner and the Falkens are much quiter. They also ride better as they're not e rated like the cooper's are in this size.

mmmm Okay? I guess I shouldn't provide information to those you are looking for it?

There are a ton of opinions, numbers, bits and pieces of information, pros and cons, ups and downs, etc, etc. on that thread.
Frankly, I'm all for re-purposing information when possible - I've put my thoughts down a couple times on that thread and so have many others.
Wouldn't you want a link to read through them?

We can all read reviews etc etc.. I think previous post just wanted forum members advice and not have to read 117 pages .. lol I don’t know what was 117 pages .. but I think a simple yay or nay would’ve sufficed .. :)
