Has anyone replaced the cluster lens?

My instrument cluster lens is scratched and has some kind of spots that i can't remove. Has anyone replaced it, is it a sealed unit? The part listed is cheap enough, but i thought most are sealed units?

I have mystery spots on mine too.

The parts department ordered a new one for me, but I forgot to pick it up. It was cheap, as I recall.
I had planned to replace mine with some instructions I found on here.... I think it was Antman. As I recall, it's reported to be an easy replacement. The gauge cluster comes out easily--- or at least that was my impression.

I'm going to track down the part again in the new year and replace mine.

I think it was some wayward bug spray that wrecked mine. I am always chasing fly fishermen away from my truck when they spray themselves with bug spray.

here's a starting point. There's various threads linked.

this is pre-2015, but it's the same proceedure to get the cluster removed, If I am not mistaken

The link nb rob provided highlights the removal process quite well. Once the cluster is out, you might not need to replace the lens. I pulled mine yesterday (using the linked instructions) and polished the lens with Eagle 1 Never Dull. (I've used this product for years to clear headlight lens successfully.) I had a few spots of Armor All that got in my cluster and looked awful. Never Dull polished it right out. It comes embedded in a wadding, just pull a small piece and open up the can of elbow grease.

It is $27 for new one and 20 minutes super easy job.
