without knowing any details at all I can assure the answer is YES. Just look at the off topic section and see how the bots have taken over the whole section.

The bots have been going on for months with a blind eye. Unrelated imo.

Looks like the hack has been cleaned up. Hopefully the popups are gone, also.

Mostly these hacks take advantage of exploits or permission misconfigs. Of course the machine bots are a major problem.
I really dont think anonymous etc really want are 3rd gen 4runner conversations...lol
