adding Sub to 19 Pro

Looking to add a sub and my friend who sells audio equipment recommends the Kenwood 8 in downward firing sub and enclosure . Seems like a nice little kit that has its own amp and bass knob . My question is where does one install this ? I know factory JBL uses the side of the crgo area but being a downward firing sub im unsure where to place it . Any help is much appreciated .

More than likely it goes under the seat like the Alpine kit.

I think the Kenwood is similar in size to my Kicker Hideaway 8" powered sub. I ended up mounting it under my driver's seat. There's a vent underneath the driver's seat that blows air towards the rear passenger so I used 3M Command strips to mount a couple of spacers to the subwoofer to allow the air to pass underneath. I also used strips on the bottom of the spacers to secure the whole thing to the carpet. I'm happy with how it turned out and plan to upgrade the front speakers next.
