Off Road shop near SanFran suggestions

I am looking into buying a 2019 4Runner in the San Fransisco area and am hoping to find some suggestions as to who to take it to for lift and accessories install. Who have you used?! Why do you suggest them?

Any help would be appreciated.

Also check Shaffers OffRoad in Alameda, they have done great work on my rig.

I’ve never owned or built one of these, any Toyota at that, and I have a couple questions as to where to start for my specific “situations”. I’m looking for this thing to be consistently reliable, in which I’ll be doing any maintenance and reliability fixes before any mods, as I will be daily driving it. But Besides being consistently reliable, I’ll be needing something that I can take anywhere but won’t be doing any intense trails at all. I won’t necessarily be doing any camping but I’ll be taking it out Into the woods and what not in order to go dirt biking, fishing etc. In reality this thing will be 70% on road 30% off-road. Who knows, if I like it enough to which I’m assuming I will, I will take it off road more.

The 4th gen platform is great for modding to fit your needs.

For example, I built my 4th gen from ground up, started as a 2wd and a now a fully built custom twin stick 4wd. My 4th gen is overland & off road ready but can be driven as a DD as I do now.

Modding is a very addicting thing.

I have put mine up for sale because I want to mod even more and I just can't afford to do that anymore.

Also make sure if its a 4th gen V6 your buying check the engine over well because the V6 4th gen has a well known head gasket issue. A bunch of guys I know have had to rebuild their motors due to this.
