I've seen these on 95eighty's IG, but didn't know they had a separate account. These look like awesome trailers, and I'd love to participate, but the timing doesn't work for me. Hope it works out for some others. Have you posted to Expedition Portal?

Big Question - are these trailer manufactured and produced in accordance to NHTSA regs? Meaning - will they have individual VINs?

Why this is a big deal? The NHTSA has been cracking down on the Mom & Pop "trailer companies" around the country who have been trying to bypass the system by claiming the manufactured trailer is a "home built".

Looks like a cool trailer. Just wanted to make sure it's all legit. Some states are weird about registering trailers.

Official response - Its built to nhsta guidelines and that I am a NATM member.
Vin tags are issued by the DMV and linked to the registration when they do the inspection.

Just to clarify...by VIN tags, you mean the manufacturer applied VIN stickers on the frame, correct? Those specify the gross weight, tires specs, manufacturer info, etc and have the VIN stamped / printed on them.

If the DMV is issuing the VIN 'tag', the trailer is likely considered 'home built' and must be then inspected by the DMV for special VIN assignment - in the state registered.

VIN assignments for manufacturers may be obtained via SAE VIN formula registration and registration via the NHTSA.

While I am certain this is a proper, well built trailer...groups not doing this are not helping the industry.
