Blue Sea Fuse Block, Where to mount?
Hey all,
Im going to get a Blue Sea fuse block but dont really want to mount it in the engine bay. They just dont seem to be very "waterproof" so Im trying to figure out a place to mount it inside, under the dash somewhere. Any seen it mounted anyoplace other than the engine bay? |
Under the radio? I believe there is a void in there.

Mine is on the back side of my drawers, underneath my bed platform.
But without having that setup, I think it would be cool mounted in the glove box. Even in the secret cubby above it. Might be a little work but it would be nice and tucked away with easy access. |
I mounted mine on top of the fuse box in the engine compartment. I just left enough slack in the cables to get the cover and fuse block off and out of the way.
It has been fine for a couple of years now |

It really doesn't get that wet under the hood... |
Same here.

The day I get off my ass and do this, I would install it in the engine bay as well. When connecting stuff, I would hate to have access it where you would have to take off panels.
As many have said, it really doesn't get wet under the hood, you will be fine. |
