Nicely set up FJ, but not $55k nice. It's at $47900 now. Still waaaaay too much...

I wouldn’t personally… As much as I like the FJ I have no interest in paying a premium for one because its discontinued.

Assuming I can't pick a 4th gen 4Runner, I would rather spend that coin on a GX 470 and build it up, it’s almost the exact same thing.

agreed, wouldn't pay for it

I posted last year about a 2014 in Montana with 47k miles selling for $33k, and that seemed high to me. But now I think that their discontinued status is already lifting prices a bit, and maybe average prices will slowly rise as the years pass. After all, Toyota did put "FJ" and "Cruiser" in the name, which harks back to the classics. Nostalgia for a discontinued 'classic' may be coming into play.

for an fi, yes; for an fj, no!

brokamonster 02-28-2020 01:36 PM

For that price, I'd be getting an LC 200.

To think that a brand new 2020 FJ Cruiser is only USD$ 40,000 in Saudi Arabia. If only cheap to ship!

Ain't no damn way in hell.

First post here! Not new to the yota team (I’ve had some Tacoma’s in the past), but I just got a steal on a 97 that I’ll post when I get some time. Speaking of a crazy price, look what this 96 4Runner went for the other day

For that kind of money I would rather put a 2.5 Gen Tacoma manual transmission in my 5th gen 4R.

Did you end up buying?
I feel like you can get a better car for that amount. :noidea:

blacklabx11 03-09-2021 05:20 PM

No way.
Plenty of real nice 13/14's with less than 100k miles for <$30k.
Just bought a 2010 with 125k miles for $20k
