Has anyone installed these on their 4runner? I’d love to hear how this helped your driving experience and how they have faired over time

I have 9,000 miles on mine.

Glad i chose JBA.

JBA will email you every 6 months reminding you that it is time to grease the fittings.

There are tons of reviews online and on youtube, i suggest you watch and read those.

I have about 15k and so far, so good.

Have just about 30000 miles on mine.
They've been awesome. 4+ degrees of caster easily and nice and steady on the highway.
I like that their videos showed more angle vs uniballs. Easy to grease, easy to maintain.
There's an issue where they had rust forming on the top of the ball joint. They sent me out a new pair and I shipped back the old ones.
Some how I got rust on these too eventually. Their new cerakoted ones on images looked more of a matte finish vs the new ones they gave me. I've just been procrastinating in emailing them though.
Easy to swap out the ball joint. Don't even have to remove the whole UCA. Just the 4 lock nuts and bolts and swap them out. Super awesome.

I've had mine on for ~30,000 km

they work as advertised. Mine don't seem to hold grease for long due to a slight gap between the boot and UCA. But they have zerks so no issue.

Their reminder emails help too!

Had them on my truck. No issues at all. I would definitely recommend them. Great customer service as well

Installed them a year ago. No issues. Can't really speak to how they effect the ride, because i put them in with the eibach kit which is tons better then the stock setup.

Yeah mine have that gap, what I thought was a tear, between UCA and boot. The boot slip was immediately evident once installed and the truck lowered off jack. Been functioning fine for over 8k miles. They've held up without issue but I thought that opening would be a concern.

*pic below, truck was filthy due to some offroad fun but you can see the gap.

I have them and I like them. I recommend.

HOWEVER if you are looking at bigger tires they can rub. It is explained on their website. You just need to be mindful of the backspacing. As far as I can tell, it is a result of using ball joints, but that is well worth it to me.

Just got the notification that mine showed up today. What sold me on these was the easily replaceable ball joint. I had SPC arms on one of my tacomas and they were great but if I had ever needed to swap a joint the alignment would be out of whack big time. Not so with this design. I'll be installing mine when my eibach front coils show up. My plan to run eibach rears with OME 883 fronts looks a little funky with a winch up front too. Time to level it out.

Order some already!!!

Right at 25,000 miles on mine. Got ~4.5 caster on both sides to keep my 285/70's from rubbing the body mount and work well with my Icon extended travel coilovers. As mentioned before the zerks make things super easy. For me, I just add 2 shots of grease to each zerk every 10,000 miles, which is the same time I rotate tires, and change my oil. I do this just to make things easy. You can swap out the balljoint very easily as others have mentioned. Some people may not know this but you can tighten up the ball joint if slack every starts to become an issue as it wears. I just found this out not too long ago actually. Get you a pair. You will love em!

Did you remove your sway bar to run the Dirt King LCA's?

Also, how do you like the Dirt Kings?
