Colorado T4R Group

1 Attachment(s)
I originally created the group to see who in CO likes to wheel, if I'm planning on taking a weekend trip to ouray/telluride I'll post up and see who in the area might be interested in short/simple trail ride (don't wheel alone).

This group is for every year 4runner in colorful Colorado. and is intended to be used to set up trail rides with anyone willing to get dirty, Need a garage or just an extra set of hands to help install that lift or new bumper? throw a wrenching party. Want to get out of the house and talk shop? Set a Meet & Greet at your favorite brewery and watch the parking lot fill with 4runner after 4runner. Even if your out-of-state but are willing to travel to trails in CO. Introduce yourself and your rig, be sure to include your location, this will help with setting up future trail rides, M&Gs, & wrenching parties.

This Off-road thread is intended for:

Intros (meet the drivers behind the wheel)
Post meet and greet locations (CO springs, metro, Ft. Collins if we have enough members/people interested in those locations.)
Wrenching parties (need space or extra set of hands, ask for help)
Small impromptu trail rides (quick trip to mountains or just want to get out on a nice weekend)

I’m planning a trip to the t-33 crash site when the bounce school road opens up anyone’s invited it should be about June or July.

That should give me enough time to wire up the rear locker, install the front bumper and winch, swap out the uní balls for delta joints, change the headlights and all the other various projects I have been needing to get done.

I'm down! would be a great shakedown run for a few interior changes I've made. I wish the trails were longer though, so one could wheel for almost a day then camp on Clads.

I might join you for this run depending on when the date is set. I live in IL but visit my parents place in the Breck area frequently. Planning on parking my 03 Limited Sequoia there this summer so I can fly in for weekend trips. I have a lift, 33s, and sliders in the works in the next month or two. No lockers but the ATRAC works really well. I had is out on the Tin Cup, Mosquito, and Wheelers Lake last July but everything was still snowed over snow I never got to far.

Love to join. Might be a while before we can explore. The GX is stock, and probably we won't do too many mods with it. It does fair stock. needs some tires on it. Some idiot hit it in the parking lot, then disappeared. The prick. Did some cosmetic damage, but not enough for me to convince the wife we needed a nice bumper. I would have liked the idiot to do damage to the front so I would have an excuse to mount my winch on it. We split our time between the disaster on the front range, and Grand Lake. Since its Colorado, having something that can "Connect the dots" is good. That being, avoid the crowded highways, and take the trails to get where you want to go. Example......Last summer we needed to go to Steamboat. So Stillwater, to Buffalo Pass was the route we took. Not a challenge, but nicer than the pavement.

I'm down for a Plane Crash trail ride again. I haven't done it since 2012 and that was in my '04 Rubicon on 35's. Should be a bit more interesting in the 4Runner.
