2 questions I can't find answers to (scan guage/ storage)

Hey gents, I'm on here again because you guys have yet to steer me awry.

I have 2 question that I can't find good answers 2

I have an 04 T4R vV8 SE

1) where have you guys mounted your scan guage 2 aside from right behind the steering wheel. I currently have a phone mount that sits there Nickey and have zero intentions of replacing it. I've been looking at trying to have a mount 3D printed that would replace the fuse cover to the left of the steering wheel. Or have a little mount that consumes with the sunglasses tray(that I don't really want to loose, or the little angled opening behind the cup holder. But again. The best spot to me is to replace the fuse cover, The connection is right there, and it's already built in to come out. If anyone has done this or has access to a 3D printer is there any way you could size this out for me and then I could just buy the finished product off of you.

2) when I had my 3rd gen and my 5th gen there were a lot of good threads on pannels to remove or little cubbies in the walls of the 4r that could be removed to find a storage compartment. All I'm finding in the search is people building a storage compartment like out of wood and using it as a sleep box as well. Can anyone point me in the right direction please thank you

Although I have an Ultragauge, you could easily fab a bracket to hang from the OS handle on the front driver A-pillar. I have seen others do this with the SG

I have also seen a few other people run their SG up along the headliner and just use some Velcro with the cables tucked. Or above the rearview mirror.

There are a lot of threads on mounting ideas.

There is no convenient sport for the scangaugeII in my opinion. I currently have it loose sitting in the little cubby behind the cup holders under the climate controls. With that cubby open it sits perfectly showing me stats.

There is a guy on ih8mud that would 3D print a gauge holder where our sunglasses mount in the overhead console but he wanted me to take mine apart and send it to him for measurements and I never got that done.

I removed the little cubby behind the cup holders to put a backup camera and USB plug there. That cubby is pretty close to useless but with it removed you can squeeze some things in it's previous space.

I have my ScanGauge on a blendmount right below the rearview mirror. Used an additional 5ish feet of cat5 cable with a connector so i can easily remove the gauge and the OBDII connector if I need to read codes on another car.

Couldnt find a Scangauge mount I liked, so I 3D Printed one

I couldnt find a way to mount my Scangauge II that I liked, so I made one. It holds the gauge to the left of the gauge cluster, somewhat in front of the drivers side defroster, without obstructing it too much.

4th gen 4runner 3d Printed Scangauge II mount. - Album on Imgur some pictures as finished, approaching 2 years with no issues
