Scion steering wheel?

So I saw this over on TW. Apparently those guys are running 2011-2016 scion TC wheels and they're supposed to be plug and play. Anyone done this on a 4th gen? Looks so good!https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...9df099a494.jpg

I did with a 5th gen steering wheel. But wasn’t necessarily plug and play for the music controls

Not so sure I like that steering wheel, my first impression was it looks like a remote control winged bedpan with a horn button.

But I'm sure it does appeal to others so what do I know!

Its also hard for me to see that in this steering wheel. The TRD button looks like it should say "Hyundai" instead (nothing against Huyndai, of course, talking about styling). Also the stitching is very different from how the 4runner interior is done, seems out of context. Overall feels very ricey to me, but they say "Beauty is in the eyes of the beholder", right?

Maybe I'll stick with the original plan. Nice leather and wood replacement. I just hate the size of our wheel, it's like driving a bus. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...33f6fbb959.jpg

Theres a guy here on page 401 that did a rav4 wheel:

It happens that the Rav4 wheel is very similar to the earlier scion tc wheel, one of which I plan to try to install soon, using a rav4 airbag cover

I’m not a fan of the wheel or style either.

Have you looked at a 5th gen or a Tacoma wheel? That would be a nice mod. swap.

When I got my 2019 Subi, it has a similar shaped steering wheel. First thing I disliked about it is I am unable to put my hand in the 6’OClock position since it doesn’t exist. My previous vehicle had the 6 OClock opening and the 4Runner does too. I use that position for long trips. Now I try to drive like that and since hand is about at the 4:30 position I have a tendency to pull to the left or right. Personally for me that’s enough to not switch to a wheel style like that, but just my preference.

Came across this and did a search on the wheel. Found a very interesting option with the 2016 scion tc wheel...pricey BUT attractive

Wow, really like that wheel. Is there an install writeup anywhere?

Then you also have to dish out another $150-200 for the scion airbag.

Best one I could find via a quick Google. I know there's others just didn't look long enough.

In the past 3 days I've ordered, BX built headlights and URD mark 3 exhaust...would I rather have those or this steering wheel...unfortunately I'm in love with it.
