Music App. Cover Art, Title etc. 2020 4R w/Apple CarPlay
 
I listen to a Jazz app (Jazz Radio) a lot and when I have my iPhone 11 connected by cable in my 2020 4Runner w/Apple CarPlay I can hear the app's music but the display does not show the cover art, title etc. in the truck. I can see it on my iPhone screen.

How can I make the cover art and title from the Jazz app display on the screen?

Unfortunately if the iOS app does not support Apple CarPlay then you won’t get to see the cover art or title or anything. There is no workaround I know about for apps that don’t support CarPlay. It isn’t that hard for apps to add support for CarPlay, so your best option I think would be sending an email to the company requesting featured be added.

I have the same app and mine shows the cover art. I don’t have 2020 with CarPlay but I have the t9. But all CarPlay should be same.

I was not able to get the Artwork or the titles to show up today. :(

I didnt get a chance to take a picture today however when Im, say, playing siriusxm and I take my cabled iPhone and select the jazz app the screen doesn't change however the music does change to the Jazz app.

Ok so if I have my iPhone connected by Bluetooth I will get the cover art and title from some of the music apps. When it's connected by USB it wont.
