Cargo/dome light LED suggestions

I have some of those Sylvania LEDs in mine but they are pretty dim. I want a lot more light, what are some suggestions?

You can get these little white pcb boards with about 24 leds I’m them. They have a springy adapter to fit the light socket and a little 2 way tape holds them in place. Bright enough to read outside the truck.

I got mine at low range off-road for a few bucks each. They’ve been in place for years now.

Here’s a pic. I actually took off some resistors to disable a few rows. They were too bright.

The cover goes back on of course.

Replaced the incandescent bulb with a SuperBrightLED and then added 4 Amazon truck bed light LEDs (8 came in the package, so 4 extras) up along the trim on the window. They’re sticky back, super easy to install. I wired them into the dome light switch so that they turn on any time the hatch dome light is on. People think they’re too bright but I love them. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...aeae66510f.jpg

That's the exact same sort of LED's I have. They work awesome, give lots of light and take less energy than the incandescent lights so don't have to worry about my battery dying if I leave the lights on by accident. Win-win. I never thing about how dim my lights are anymore plus it helps with the kids in the backseat when they drop stuff.

I recommend also replacing the map lights with 31 mm festoon LED bulbs. The 3x2 5630's are very bright. Can also put in colors and all that if that's your vibe. I put in red and green ones for my kiddos in the back seat for Christmas.

If anyone's looking for warm white, superbrightleds offers them. I wanted brighter but in an incandescent color so I ordered from them, definitely brighter than no overwhelming.

Also physically check what bulbs your front map/dome bulbs are. Some sites specify a wedge base like 194 when they're actually BA9S (mini bayonet)
