2003 SR5 build

So we are new 4Runner owners again, 2nd one we have owned. First was a 2nd gen in 2008.
Picked up this beauty last weekend. 2003 SR5 80,374 miles, one owner garage kept from day one. We paid $7000 for her, I think we did ok!! So my plan is to build a nice rig I can use daily for our PDR company as my work truck, but also use on the weekends for camping and my shooting rig. List..... Lift. 2020 Tacoma TRD Offroad suspension $100 Larger tires and wheels. 265/70/17 Toyo A/T II and pro Comp 61 cognos Full rear drawer system for my tools and firearms Full roof rack and RTT C4 winch bumper That is on my short list.... Already picked up the suspension, paid $100 delivered to me. The suspension has less than 200 miles on it, pretty much brand new! Installed it yesterday, took about 1.5 hrs simple job. Lifted the front right around 2.25”, not sure what I am going to do about the rear? Wheels and tires should be here today or tomorrow. Before and after. |

4wheelparts screwed me over on my wheels and tires, so I picked up a set of like new 2020 TRD Offroad wheels & tires with less than 300 miles on them, paid $600!! I am pretty happy with the look. Will post better pics tomorrow.

Some more before and after pics. Hopefully picking up a coil spacer for the rear Saturday.

Great find, a 2003 with only 80k miles! You got a great deal on the 4R, and the susp. and wheels/tires.
Did you buy just the TRD front suspension? The front looks higher than the rear. I looked at those Tacoma wheels, but bought something different. They look good on a 4Runner! |
I got the entire TRD Offroad suspension, but only installed the front. It’s about 1” higher in the front. I am going to install 1.5” spacers in the rear. Should be the perfect height once I build out my rear drawer system.

It is a 100% bolt on kit for the front. I literally unbolted my factory struts and bolted up the Tacoma TRD Offroad struts. Took me less than 2 hours! |

Started on the rear platform and drawers today, made some good progress just need to make the face of the drawers. Not sure what word I am going to use yet, definitely want something that will look pretty nice when stained.
When the drawers are extended it will double as a table also. |
