Toyota Security Switch
At a pick and pull the other day I found the indicator that (I think) comes with the RS3200 security system (the more secure one I believe). I don’t think my ‘99 has the RS3200 but I want to put the indicator in one of the blank spots on the left of the steering wheel for the appearance of an alarm system to any potential thieves. My question is, has anyone done this, and is there a way to get the red light to blink when the car is locked? I’m definitely not interested in an aftermarket system, and I’m mostly just trying to put a free part to use and curtail some covid boredom.
The indicator to the right of the “Back Window” switch. (Just a generic picture off of google) https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/202...2a546d12b8.jpg |
I don't think this one allows blinking only when car is locked but its fake so who cares?

Thanks, I’m more wondering how I should wire the existing switch because I’m just trying to use a part that I have laying around. |
