Adventure Runner Pre-Built Build Thread

Some of you might recall the member @blackoutt and his 2007 Galactic Limited, well for the past year and some change I've been the very proud owner of this baby right here and figured by now I've done enough to make a thread of my own/revive his build for those interested in information. I'm adv_runner on IG for some pretty alright content. I've been dealing with a slight sickness for almost a year, but now that it's getting better it's time to use this thing more!

As of last weekend on an impromptu, no gear camping trip here's how she sits.

For those interested in the drawers/bed/electrical that he put together here's some old picture of the process. I have all the details from old threads too for anyone if they need.

My first time out with it putting all these goodies to use.

https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...85d2a756_z.jpg

The day of the new rear bumper. This was built by a local fab shop that intended to produce it, but since nixed that idea.

https://live.staticflickr.com/65535/...34f433ae_z.jpg

The new front bumper, winch, F55 stuff and S2 were all pretty straight forward. The fairlead and bumper weren't 100% plug and play which was a little disappointing. But all I had to was grind the bumper slightly on each side so make room. The wiring for the aux reverse light was already there from the old ones.

Right after the new wheels and tires a couple of weeks ago. Completely rub free on the old 295s, but now I have some cutting on the front bumper to do and I want to relocated the body mount altogether.

Wish I had the V8, that stance on the F5's and 315's makes my pants fit weird.

The V8 is why I don't have a 5th gen anymore :guitar2:

Yeah same here, I knew I was gonna like the new wheel/tire combo but I had no idea I'd be so in love lol.

Thank you both!

I've ordered the body mount relocation kit, and panhard correction kit. So'll have some in depth photos of that install. Super ready to have full wheel lock again and get rid of this adjustable sway bar and it's clunking heim.

Looks great man, looking extra thicc with those 315s! I do like the rear bumper a lot, neat to have something unique!

Can't you put 315's on your V6?

Sure I could, just no budget to re gear for a while, so I'd suffer drastically until I could swing it. I'm just not sure how practical it is. In my area 33's have never let me down, I might try either a 295/70 next time or maybe pizza cutters, not sure yet.
