Brake Booster Accumulator Install Question.
2006 4runner @ 226K
Is there a procedure for installing a new Accumulator? Do you fill it with fluid or leave it dry, as it came from the dealer?
|
Install it dry. After the installation is complete perform the proper bleed procedure and then inspect for any leaks.

As

said: install it "dry" (as it came from the dealer), then fill the reservoir and turn the key on so the pump runs while making sure the reservoir stays full
Here's this too, incase it helps: https://www.toyota-4runner.org/3560752-post10.html
